Why Study in the United Kingdom?
The UK is home to some of the world’s most respected universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College London, and UCL. A UK degree is recognised globally and valued by employers across industries. The shorter course duration — typically three years for a Bachelor’s and one year for a Master’s — means you spend less time and money reaching your qualification.
For international students from Bangladesh, India, Nigeria, Vietnam, and Malaysia, the UK offers a familiar academic culture, English-language instruction, and a Graduate Route visa that allows you to work for two years after completing your degree without needing a job offer.

Living in the UK
The UK has a large international student community. Cities like London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Birmingham offer great public transport, diverse food options, and active student societies.
London is one of the world’s great cities — cultural, diverse, and professionally connected — but it comes at a premium. Cities like Manchester, Nottingham, and Sheffield offer similar quality of life at much lower costs.
The NHS (National Health Service) covers most medical costs for international students who have paid the Immigration Health Surcharge. You will have access to GP (doctor) visits, hospital treatment, and emergency care at no additional cost.
Career Outcomes
UK degrees are highly regarded by employers globally. The Graduate Route visa means you can start building your career in the UK right after graduation. London in particular is a hub for finance, tech, media, and professional services. For students from our partner countries, a UK degree typically speeds up your career — whether you stay in the UK or return home.
